Giving Thanks

Tonight I am giving thanks for an extra hour of sleep! The trade-off of course is that this is the time of year  when the days are growing shorter which means a little less daylight every day. Today was a sunny day, sunny but cold. After lots of gray days here in Nashvegas, I am having a sunshine celebration!

  1. I completely agree. I give thanks every year when daylight savings time ends. I know lots of people bemoan the lack of afternoon light, but I find it SO hard to get out of bed when it's dark outside. The change gives me a few weeks' reprieve, which I used this morning for a 6 AM walk with Bekah. We both loved it. Hooray for falling back into standard time!
